It depends if your employees are responsible and trustworthy enough. Working remotely has it's own sets of risks and temptation for the employee to just slack away.

Yes, it saves you time wasted on travel. It also saves you money from having to buy lunch out.

It enables employees to balance their work and personal obligations. As long as they still fulfill their responsibilities, I encourage my employees to telecommute.
