In the past few weeks, two African American leaders have been accused of anti-Semitism - Alice Walker and Marc Lamont Hill. The problem is, only one of them actually made anti-Semitic remarks - Walker.

And by erasing the difference between Walker’s remarks and Hill’s, we Jews are minimizing the threat and danger of actual anti-Semitism. In writing off the whole pro-Palestinian movement as anti-Semitic, we lose the ability to call out anti-Semitism when it really happens. Moreover, we lose any leverage over people in that movement.https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/.premium-alice-walker-endorses-anti-semitism-marc-lamont-hill-doesn-t-was-that-so-hard-1.6768513

Antisemitism (also spelled anti-semitism or anti-Semitism) is hostility to, prejudice, or discrimination against Jews. A person who holds such positions is called an antisemite. Antisemitism is generally considered to be a form of racism. It has also been characterized as a political ideology which serves as an organizing principle and unites disparate groups which are opposed to liberalism.[Wikipedia]

Anti semitism is holding a bias against Jewish people because of their heritage. Criticizing the obvious human rights abuses being perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people is not anti semitic it's the truth. They are literally killing children. Speaking out about that and wanting to stop it is being a good human being.

Palestinians are literally killing children too, Jewish ones and their own as well.

When Israeli children get killed by Palestinians, Palestinians are to blame. (sounds just about right.) Every Palestinian children killed by Zionists is a human shield, again Palestinians are to blame. (whoever coined this retarded fallacy needs to jump off a cliff asap).

NO, it is NOT anti-Semitic to criticize Israel nor anti-Muslim to criticize Saudi Arabia. Feel free to criticize any political (not religious!) group as much as you feel appropriate.

In my view you can also criticize religious aspects without hating people for following said religion. I was raised as Christian (nowadays I follow no religion) and there are several things Catholicism that I always criticized. I see no reason why people shouldn't be able to do the same about other religions as well, which is very different than being against people who follow this or that religion or having hatred for them. But on this case, it's 100% political. Criticizing Zionism is not even the same as criticizing Judaism. Israel is a country, with policies regarding Palestinians that can and should be criticized. Ethnic cleansing is never ok, regardless where it comes from.

Anytime somebody criticizes Isreal, people get up in arms, and label that person as an Anti-Semitic. But, when somebody criticizes a Muslim country, aint nobody calling them Islamophobic. The real issue is that the Zionists know that what they are doing is wrong, and they don't want anyone to call them out on their actions, because they think their actions are justified. Ms. Omar was speaking the truth, and if you doubt it, just look at the reaction of the Democratic party. They were so quick to shut her up. It's the same pattern over and over again. Anytime a prominent Muslim woman speaks out against the Zionists, they are pressured into backtracking and apologizing.

Muslims believe in an idea based on hate and intolerance. It is not a religion. This Omar doesn’t belong in our country nor any of the other haters

I am Muslim, it most definitely is a religion, but it's based generosity, unity, and tolerance. It's based on the idea that we should always be growing as a person and trying to be better. Wanna know another thing we value? Seeking knowledge. You should try it some time. Wanna know what Islam is really about? Stop watching Fox News and go talk to some Muslims. Most of us are normal, average folk who have the same worries and struggles that you do. We all just want to live in peace and provide for our families.
