No more dinners with female colleagues. Don't sit next to them on flights. Book hotel rooms on different floors. Avoid one-on-one meetings.

In fact, as a wealth adviser put it, just hiring a woman these days is"an unknown risk." What if she took something he said the wrong way?

Across Wall Street, men are adopting controversial strategies for the #MeToo era and, in the process, making life even harder for women.https://www.smh.com.au/business/workplace/wall-street-s-new-rule-for-the-metoo-era-avoid-women-at-all-cost-20181206-p50kh6.html?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR0D1J7JF1bOSXZO1JG0FAvBPO3hbvOV7MqkjgPdYRuONvdWfdH06yF8HJE#Echobox=1544056868

If men will avoid working with women just because of fear of being accused of sexual harassment, do you think it is fair? The career of women will also be affected by this.

It's really puzzling how many men find it so difficult to just treat women as human beings.

Do you mean to say rather"find it so difficult to just treat women as men?" Men do treat women as human beings: female human beings. It seems to me you have simply restated the problem we all face.

I think maybe these men should go one step further and stay at home. Better safe than sorry.

I second that notion!

Corporate powerful men...Hmmm... should we re-evaluate our behaviour and workplace policies to see if we’re perpetuating sexism and hindering women from entering and succeeding in an important industry?

I can’t blame men to be honest. If it’s ones word against another if a women decides to try to get some money or get them fired by falsifying a sexual harassment claim... guess who is believed. I’d be way too paranoid to be a man alone with a woman these days. One false claim can ruin a whole life.

Why is it so hard to tackle both issues? Punish men who sexually assault women with harsh sentences and women who falsely accuse men with the same the man would have got. It's not hard and you don't have to take ONE side!

The one thing that needs to be solved is how a man is presumed to be guilty when he's accused. The notion of innocent until guilty must be upheld.

Because the vast majority of accusations aren’t false? Women literally have no reason to make these things up. Going by statistics alone, in most cases would you bet your house on the accused being innocent or guilty?

How dare women not want to be sexually assaulted or harassed in the work place.
