I read a quote recently that someone may appreciate here."What you lose by being honest, you never had in the first place."

It's better to be"Seemingly" rejected for who you authentically are, than accepted for a false projection of self.

Videos like this one demonstrate how wonderful a person you truly are, Teal. I am grateful that you are alive. The wisdom that you teach is beyond anything of value in this world.

I feel I have missed out because I had to choose between social acceptance and being who I am.

I have spent my whole life dealing with this. I always have felt like I am missing out. I always wanted to be more important and special. I withdrew into those feelings for years, trying to figure out how to deal with that. I used this energy to develop intuition and empathy. I explored my selfish thoughts and emotions and thought about how that impacts me. I am a decisive person because I understand how my actions reflect upon myself.

Fascinating. It took me decades to recognize these type of bad patterns. Some good stuff here. (I'm thinking that people-pleasing falls into this FOMO concept)

FOMO= self-expectation of omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence, while at the same time believing that we are ONLY human.
