Most companies believe that in the long-run, automating most of their business processes will help them cut costs and streamline processes and workflow. While this is true, there are a few things to consider and try out before making the big change. It is important to test the process and compare the results and productivity to your current output, let your employees also make use of the new systems before implementing them fully. Should the company opt to go for the systems, it is equally vital to assist and train your employees on the new systems and how to optimise on them in order to fully leverage off the benefits.

I definitely see merit in the automation of business processes because it improves business efficiency and simplifies human lives in general. Organizations that embrace business process automation have cut costs, saved time, and asked their manual workforce to solve more intelligent problems. When you automate a business process, you identify the series of tasks that must be done to complete any item in a workflow.

A lot of people tend to be against automation because they believe that it will reduce jobs and increase the unemployment rate. This is highly unlikely as it is very rare for automation to replace jobs. However robotic process automation is an entirely new industry and that may be a cause for concern. Automation should be viewed as a business improvement mechanism instead

I use BPA software to automatically post newsletters, articles, and other important information to each platform simultaneously. The software automatically implements email marketing campaigns by sending emails to registered clients. Before BPA software, these tasks had to be performed manually, which was time consuming and tedious for numerous employees.

While using BPA software for completing a wide range of tasks can certainly be helpful for streamlining business operations, it can also be intimidating and overly complex. What has worked for me has been to consult with an IT consultant, so the BPA software can be properly installed and used correctly by each employee.

Automation ensures that every action is performed identically resulting in high quality, reliable results. If, for example, you have automated your customer service follow-up process, your customers will consistently experience the same level of service from your business

Automating makes sense for repetitive tasks. I think people nowadays want more challenging tasks and repetitive tasks just won't cut it anymore. Also, manual repetitive tasks are prone to errors, automating them will be better.

Process automation reduces the time it takes to achieve a task, the effort required to undertake it and the cost of completing it successfully. Automation not only ensures systems run smoothly and efficiently, but that errors are eliminated and that your best practices are constantly leveraged.

Manual tasks take time. They have to be performed linearly by humans who are prone to err by nature. Automation reduces the number of tasks you and your employees would otherwise need to do manually. Lack of communication and the absence of follow-ups are major concerns for all business processes. Once you automate the process, you do no longer need to follow-up with your colleagues or clients: your work will be executed at the scheduled time with no delay.
